For Clients:

  • Provide a safe and suitable working environment for the chef.

  • Adhere to agreed-upon payment terms and cancellation policies.

For Chefs:

  • Maintain high professional standards and hygiene practices.

  • Deliver services as agreed upon with the client.

  • Ensure compliance with local food safety regulations and health codes.

3. Booking, Payments, and Cancellations

  • All bookings must be confirmed through the Blue Lion Chefs platform.

  • Clients must pay a deposit upon booking, with the balance due according to the agreed terms.

  • Cancellations made 1 week before the event may be eligible for a partial refund, while last-minute cancellations are non-refundable.

  • Blue Lion Chefs is not responsible for disputes between chefs and clients but may offer mediation where necessary.

4. Liability and Disclaimers

  • Blue Lion Chefs acts solely as a booking platform and is not responsible for any issues arising from chef-client interactions.

  • We guarantee the performance, behavior, or actions of any chef listed on our platform.

  • Clients acknowledge that hiring a chef involves inherent risks, and Blue Lion Chefs is not liable for any damages, injuries, or losses.

  • Chefs are responsible for obtaining any necessary insurance for their services.

5. Privacy and Data Protection

  • We collect and store user data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

  • User information will not be shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law.

  • By using our platform, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual Property

  • All website content, branding, and materials belong to Blue Lion Chefs and may not be used without permission.

  • Chefs retain ownership of their personal branding and menus but grant Blue Lion Chefs a limited license to display their profiles on the platform.
